Ah, yes, The Turin Horse; it stars wind and potatoes. That film taught me to never make any sudden movements, unless Gypsies are afoot.

In his rare moments of lucidity, he has flashbacks to when he was "somebody" and gets scared that his gravy train with biscuit wheels is derailing.

I'm an unyielding fan of anything Lynch does (even his anomaly The Straight Story), but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the new Peaks iteration.

Yeah, I think Carpenter Brut and Perturbator are unparalleled in the genre. Synthwave is the only newer music I've gotten into because I'm old, bitter, and can only respond to things I find familiar.

I wonder if the only way the 'ol Spoonster could engage in consensual coitus these days is through prostitution........but that would mean he would have to spend his "hard-earned money" on something other than booze.

I'm currently making my way through Béla Tarr's oeuvre. I wouldn't necessarily say it's an endurance test because I genuinely love his films, but it's definitely time-consuming.
