I'm not even sure Splatoon can even stand up anymore. How do we know he hasn't bought himself a wheelchair in a last desperate attempt to get that disability cash? He can even call it his Jeep and put stickers on it when he drives himself across the yard.

At this point, I wouldn't put it past his laziness to just find a way to stay sitting down all day.
