Oh. Oh, Okay. I've seen people recommend Hunter x Hunter. If there's something I can't stand it's creators of something inserting their fetish shit into their creations. Seems like the writer of that animu/mango nuts every time there's some limb dismembered. Hard pass.
The biggest offenders of such shit by the way are Tim & Eric. I can not watch their shit because whenever they are included they put liquid smacking sounds into everything to the point that it makes me feel like I'm watching shit they only make to jerk off to.

You should probably avoid Bleach then. I think about half of the cast got their arm chopped off (or sometimes mangled) at some point in their life.

Then again, Bleach has far worse problems.

Togashi has some sort of weird fetish for disgusting stuff, probably because that IRL he's a dirty hoarder (there's a scene in HxH where a character is working among a huge pile of thrash, and that was based on Togashi's own office). But HxH has solid characters and an interesting enough plot. After all these years I'm still in love with the way the conducted the Greed Island and Chimera Ant arches. He managed to make me feel sorry for his Cell-expy villain, of all things.

Didn't the Chimera Ant one have a Freeza clone?
