Eventually it'll be pirated... Eventually. I remember the snob movie taking nearly a year to start showing up on the torrent sites.mad bum wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 2:59 pmAre people going to care enough to pirate it though? Yeah, the one I posted is still up. I'd link it again but fuck it, you can find it on page six or seven, I think. It's at the start of this thread, that I remember.mad bum wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 2:59 pmAre people going to care enough to pirate it though? That's the question. Re: Brad Jones, The Cinema Snob
I found the story and the looks of the movie quite good, but i also found it extremly boring in many parts. Still worth checking out.
This reminds me of my father's last words: "Don't son, that gun is loaded!"
Re: Brad Jones, The Cinema Snob
Speaking of Blade Runner, I feel these two videos do a good job differentiating between people who actually have an idea of how to discuss films and a bunch of dumbasses who have no idea what they're talking about.
Here's RLM Re:view of Blade Runner:

And here's Brad Jone's Midnight Screenings of Blade Runner:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG1BiSVZJQM
The RLM crew actually talk about the film in a structured, orderly manner, exploring themes and ideas that the film presents while also addressing criticisms they have regarding the film. And they do it while managing to be funny.
Meanwhile Brad Jones and his mentally challenged fat friend ramble for 37 minutes. They spend a huge chunk of time bitching about Harrison Ford's narration, which isn't even present in the version they saw, and Brad at one point veers back into talking about the narration, as if he has no idea what else to say about the movie. He and his friend can't discuss themes or subtext or plot structure or criticisms, they both struggle to find more things to say about the film and just ramble random plot points, it's so bad that I stopped watching it 30 minutes in. And it's not like they hadn't seen the movie before, they're just too stupid to discuss movies. If it's not a terrible movie then their videos are worthless, cause they don't know what actually makes a film good or how to talk about it.
