Just wait until water becomes a really big problem in many enough regions. Can't have super crops without water and can't have life without it anyway. Europe is going to be fine for a long time but the regions that are already bad will get worse.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 10:35 pmYeah but 'muh human rights'Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 9:07 pmShit's expensive and will always be more expensive than a bullet per person and a very large hole.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 2:59 pmWell, going by the Japanese anime (namely Gundam and Policenauts) you'd send the shit people there.
Human rights are the first thing that go out of the window when things become dire.

Heh, Bob reading a book. But even if he did he'd probably attribute Whatney's ability to survive despite all odds, including his own errors, as enough evidence that we could live, ignoring the fact that Whatney had to be on guard at all times, endured a lot of trial and error, and any slip ups that happened, like when he lost contact with earth by putting his drill on the probe without even thinking, cost him dearly.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 4:13 pmDunno what idea he got from the movie, but the book didn't really make it look like we're going to live there anytime soon.
He's a creature of extremes, so when it comes to stuff he wants, he can only focus on the positive outcomes. Like his eugenics love, he assumes you'll just end up with a race of super humans. But he doesn't understand recessive genes can cause problems, not all traits are inheritable and if you keep mixing only certain blood types, they become susceptible to diseases they haven't been exposed to. That's not even going into the ethical issues involved, but of course this is Bob, his entire moral compass is based on what he thinks people should act like.

His biggest flaw is that he thinks he's being logical. All there's really to him is a manic need to somehow get rid of all people he perceives as "lower class". Half the time he doesn't even know why he wants what he claims to want.
He's a massive autist. He can't empathize with people at all. Because he hates any physical work (obviously) he assumes that everyone must do so as well and those who don't must be evil and regressive. In his perfect world, all labour must absolutely be automated (by magic, I assume) and if a person creates something it must be art or science. Anything else and it's of to the sterilization camp with you.

So he got all this from watching a movie. Of course. All these shitlibs online think they're erudite scholars but the only knowledge they have comes from pop culture. None of them have ever done any actual research, because its boring and interferes with Twitter time.

They're basically the modern equivalent of the Russian Intelligentsia. The intelligentsia liked to think of themselves as erudite scholars and free-thinkers or whatever, but they were essentially just literate. The modern shitlibs are even worse because they're just barely literate.

You don't need to tell me. I don't believe in human rights or even the value of a human life. It's arbitrary. Cut me some slack for argument's sake.

Re: Movieblob
Human rights are a luxury, like living in a society where you don't need to carry a weapon or hunt your own food. All luxuries are subject to removal. Human rights are a lie people tell themselves. "Right to life?" That's not a right. That's just something that you have until you suddenly don't have it. "Liberty?" Again, some shit you have until you don't have it. Saying it's your right means nothing. "Pursuit of happiness" is a philosophy, not a right. Nobody can stop you from pursuing happiness. People being tortured by drug cartels still have as much right as they could want to pursue happiness.
What other rights? Privacy? Privacy isn't a right. Children have zero right to privacy according to many. The elderly and insane have no right to privacy. The violent have no right to privacy. People in war zones have no right to privacy. You only have a right to privacy for as long as you can keep someone else from invading your privacy.
Right to bear arms? Kek, or should I say, cuck. Cucked nations traded that right away ages ago.
Right to worship your god of choice, or none? Not universal and not a right. Nobody can stop you from secretly thinking whatever you think or believing whatever you believe, but they can stop you from expressing it, and do.
Right to free speech? Not a right. You only have this "right" for as long as you can use force or the threat of force to prevent someone else from taking your free speech away from you.
What's left? Right to food? Right to water? Right to air? All of these can be removed at a moment's notice by someone with a bigger stick.

Re: Movieblob
The notion of rights in general is anti-Darwinian in the extreme. I find it ludicrous that shitlibs who believe evolution is correct would accept this notion of human rights as anything other than a luxurious legal fiction and product of our advanced society.
