Writers using their characters to blast teh internet haterz is the absolute bottom of the pathetic barrel. Way to let the trolls know they got to you so badly you had find solace in a fantasy world from your imaginary friends while pissing off everyone who actually cared about the story you were telling because you just ruined the immersion and made your hero look as whiny and pathetic as you are.

That's also pretty much what a webcomic "artist" would do. These folks also share internet nobody traits (like how they can't handle the bantz and tend to never improve, like, at all). Nice to see that Marvel only hires the right people.

Well, they made X-23 the new female Wolverine. They basically changed her character from lonely autist girl who barely says anything and does not understand social conventions, to a Whedon-esque quips-a-lot snarky empowered feminist, who bitches because 'people on the internet' don't like her as Wolverine. So basically, like every other female Marvel character in Current Year

If any of the comic publishers had any fucking standards at all they would immediately fire any writer who lashes out at people like that in their writing. It makes your entire company look unprofessional and petty, and the writing itself is absolute garbage. It makes you look no better than a shitty webcomic.

I have seen webcomics that were better than Mofern Marlel, those ebcomics weren't good but they could be mocked easily unlike Marlel where even mocking it is a chore

Pixels is the only reason he was able to survive post-Escapist. He was losing relevance, and Screw Attack was already regretting a 32 video deal with the guy. They had no intention of renewing the contract, and after that he would have floundered. But he genuinely believes he's on the level of Ebert and the others, even though he does everything he says he hates about modern internet critics, because he has no self-awareness.

He does, he just can't be bothered writing another one, he just made e-book versions of his Escapist reviews. He's already told his life story, now he has nothing else to write about without a guaranteed cheque coming.
