I'm surprised that video didn't get more hate then it got. He basically called the fans dumb for not liking the new style and called his old style terrible and if you like his old style then you're wrong.Guest #2 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2017 8:02 am
remember this shitty video, where he bitched at the fans for not liking his shitty new style
Doge Walker and Channel Awesome

Starts about 28:00, he rants at his younger self for thinking that 'never changing' is a good thing, then his younger self posts the review but no one watches it and he has the epiphany that most online comments are negative. Then the new hires jump in to try and console him or something, that's about where I gave up.

I assume that was basically his IRL reaction to Demo Reel's "success".
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Does he even know how to make original stuff anymore? Years ago he put out a video of his old stuff from back in film school and before CA, and he seemed completely embarrassed of it. They were at least something different (horror-esque) and showed that at one point Doge could've done something more with his talent than screaming at the ceiling.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

This is interesting, this person uploaded the behind the scene stuff
Re: Doge Walker and Channel Awesome
The Making of was way more interesting than the actual movie. Planning a movie outdoors in April, the rainy month, and being dumbstruck that this could cause delays in flights and having locations rained out because of the time of year.

There is a reference to it, so I guess this was his: "It's time to move on" on the topic.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2017 5:27 pmI assume that was basically his IRL reaction to Demo Reel's "success".
As long as I agree with his point that everything changes so you have to grow up and let them change. I'm still waiting for him to grow up from his dream of becoming the next Spielberg, it's not going to happen Doge, and their insistence that the ad based monetization is the way to go. It's not going to last Doge it's time to grow up and create something that people would want to pay for of their own free will.

There is some more, they have behind the scenes for all the 1st 4 movies, they are way better then the actual movies
