I somehow ended up watching a lot of stuff from the 20s and 40s: All Quiet on the Western Front, Nosferatu, Metropolis and the occasional Charlie Chaplin film.

It's quite baffling how the movie isn't talked about at all, with the recent 90s nostalgia you'd think a movie that was that popular would have been talked about.

SJWs would probably claim that Jim Carrey's character is a sexist PuA who objectifies women and makes fun of people of color.

Already done, there's a shitty internet comic strip of a dumbass character (self-insert?) that start with the character watching Ace Ventura but get so triggered by the crossdresser being a villain or some shit like that it declare that the whole of the 90's sucked because of that.
Ace Ventura is not mentioned but it's obviously the movie watched

I still didn't watch a bunch of classics from the 70s and 60s. ( to be honest, the 60s isn't that great but ok)

Still have to follow through a lot of movies in the 20s and 40s

'70s and '80s were the golden era for films IMO. A lot of the really great stuff came out then. The Thing, Goodfellas, Escape from New York, Rollerball, Terminator, Predator, First Blood, Blade Runner and so on. Classic after classic.

So, I finally went and watched the Suicide Squad review, figuring that if Doge thought it was such a big deal he'd be selling tickets, it might be good, right?

Surprisingly... I actually found it pretty decent. Honestly, the clipless format worked fairly well here, and it did have some good jokes in there, though unfortunately some of them were ruined by him dragging them out too long.

Definitely not worth something worth paying actual money to see, though.
