Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
@rabidtictac I'm just repeating what they have on their website, that's my guess. As for IRL meeting some douchebag, ask yourself why they give them money to begin with. They are fans, the worst thing one person can do to another one is to become their fan.
They think the streamer is their friend, a cool person they want to hang out with, and this is their chance. Some of those fans put their idols on a pedestal, which is absolutely ridiculous when they don't even worship someone who fucking did something. Nobody is going to remember these streamers in another decade or so, just because you can make money from human misery doesn't mean shit.
Personally, I think streaming is depressing as hell, I mean succesful streamers mostly serve as a sort of distant mental help, well, not really help, but a substitute for proper help, which makes it worse. Which is why I'm trying to not think about it most of the time, but it really is a sad display, I would easily say that majority of viewers on twitch are to an extent disfunctional human beings. Or at the very least, any one of them who ever donated money to a streamer.
As for Phil not having any time for himself, you guys are forgetting that he, just like Donald Duck, sleeps 16 hours per day. That leaves a little time for himself, after all, he has a lot of responsibility!

Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
Well, I recall a video of his where he described his "woe is me" situation of having juuuust enough time to get, prepare, cook and eat the food between streams.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 5:51 pmHe streams like 6 hours a day at best. How does he not have 2-3 hours left to cook a meal that lasts a few days when his workplace is at home?VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 4:09 pmThis comes to no surprise for me. He made at least one giant rant about how he barely has any time making food for himself with all the streaming he does.
The way he puts it, it sounds like he only has around 1 hour per day where he can do something besides streaming and sleeping, and that he has a bomb implanted into his body that will explode if his streams aren't on time. It's a bit ridiculous.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

That's true. For all he talks about having no time and a terrible work schedule, he works maybe six hours a day and is frequently late to stream.
Then he talks about marathoning fucking seasons of tv shows and you realize where his time goes. I also suspect he gets drunk when he's watching netflix every night.

Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
I couldn't find DSP listed as part of Twitchcon anywhere and there is no event listed on 22 that is similar to what he described. But I do know what he is referring to. It's gonna be one of those shitty games.
