Total numbers don't mean much. There are just, ever so slightly, more women alive than men. I'd be interested in knowing if that's also the case when we just count people between 20 and 40.
Either way, everyone knows from experience that that's just not the way it is. Dick has zero market value. You can get it for free absolutely everywhere.

Relevant to DSP because Onision is basically DSP 2.0 when it comes to lying and scamming money. How long until DSP reveals something he shouldn't to his patrons and something like this happens?

Just look at all the useless expensive shit these cucks have.

Anyway, back to DSP:

Okama playthrough is behind a paywall.

Okama? How progressive.

Imagine being a new viewer to DSP. You’re looking for a playthrough of okami, maybe you’re a fan of it or maybe you thought it looked cool or whatever.

You find DSPs channel and get ready to watch the playthrough. Only you then have to wait while DSP whines about his taxes, bitches about losing his house, goes on an angry rant about people who think he hired a fucking escort, insults people who he deems to be trolls and openly begs you to give him your Christmas money. He goes on like this for an hour.

If you stick through that DSP plays the game badly, complains and moans some more, insults the programmers and constantly looks for an excuse to drop the game. If you’re still hyped for his playthrough after all THAT, he drops the game anyway and blames you for it.

That’s the experience any new viewer to DSP will have. But yeah, it’s the detractors fault you’re tanking.

For a lot of playthroughs, it's even worse. Imagine you tune in, listen to a full hour of begging on the prestream, then you watch the LP. He plays the game badly, reads stream chat the entire time (and so always knows what to do) and never says anything unless he's doing a 10 bit shout-out.

Insulting the devs is honestly a step up from a lot of his current year playthroughs. Most of them now are just too fucking boring. You can't even make a TIHYDP out of them because he never speaks except for shout-outs and reads the cheater chat the entire time. So he doesn't even get stuck and rage.

And then, on top of all those hours every day of begging prestreams, he still drops games if his whales don't pony up enough cash. I'm not shocked at all to see his views on youtube are down to around 100-300 views per video. People are tapping the fuck out. When his whales finally leave, he'll go from 100,000 dollars a year to 20,000, and it'll happen real fucking fast. He's probably around 80% directly audience-funded.

I don't think he realizes that the money he's making now is the most he's going to be making for the rest of his life. Unless he wants to go back to school and get a master's in something.

The only legit reason I'd have to insult the Okami devs would be for that last stone guy. You basically need to see in slow motion to beat that fucker's puzzle.

I would insult the Okama devs because I think the game is too long. The last quarter or so was entirely unnecessary. You don't need to make players fight every boss three times. Snow locations are cool, but I was tapped out by that point and so ready to just be done with the game. I can't recall any other game where I felt so exhausted by the end. I wasn't marathoning the game either, it's just so fucking long and most of the shit starts to repeat 2-3 or more times. Pretty much every task requires repeating later.

But back to Phil, I was reading some twitter shit and a guy said "Phil could improve his playthroughs by committing to 1-2 games and enjoying himself, and this would bring his viewership up."

I really thought about it, and the way I feel about DSP's playthroughs is they have so many problems, I can't give much "advice" for fixing his situation. Everything possible that could be bad about his LPs, is. "Fixing" his videos would require removing DSP entirely and substituting someone interesting. I don't think limiting himself to 1-2 games at a time would do anything to fix the mountains of problems.

The only fix for DSP is a noose hanging from the ceiling.
