Not to mention that he was dumb enough to actually fall for the candid shit.

At least he admitted to it unlike Armored Fatman and WigOnHead who are still shilling despite knowing they've been had.

Because their contracts tell them to. They are bitches to their own signatures.

All the butt-hurt Skeptic content creators on Teal's comments section is cringe worthy. None of these people get it, they are not entitled to YouTube giving them ad revenue. YouTube isn't trying to hush you, you just aren't advertiser friendly and they as a corporation want to finally start churning a profit after a decade. The gravy train has ended, you should have had a backup plan. Asking people to fund you for making videos is lame because it's not that hard to do. Most of the time you're probably eating potato chips and Skyping. Time to get a job and go back to making videos as a hobby.

Now, YouTube pulling great channels like SyeTen for mocking Islam is absolute bullshit because they are pandering to SJWs, but even then SyeTen isn't entitled to adrev or a platform, either

I'm not sure YouTube can make a profit off of all of the "ad-friendly" youtubers they're going to be left with, to be completely honest with you.

I'll take a million MundaneMatt videos that I can make fun of over another week's worth of, "challenge," videos where it's all just a bunch of bored young adults jumping on the bandwagon and pretending that flipping a bottle (or any various other object) is interesting to watch at all. It's all just... too safe. Hell, a few of the people my wife watches were going so far under, due to producing safe, boring content day in and day out that they had to get funding from YouTube, directly, just so they could then hire people to work with them producing the same safe, boring, ad-friendly content that they always did.

Not to mention the amount of idiotic daily vloggers who pretend that they're filming their average every day life but anyone over the age of 12 knows that they plan to do outlandish crap because it gets the clicks.

Also smash that like button, subscribe, click the bell, and comment because you might get a comment back from the creator, y'dig?

Based TL;DR just told the Skeptic Community™ to get a job.
He may as well post here, because that is pretty much DHI.MOV.

And his written version is even better, going over how it costs them fuck all and the best parts are here:
The world will survive with only one video from you a week rather than 2-3. Nothing you say or do is that important.
Hilariously my youtube-as-a-hobby upload schedule is just as frequent as that of some "fulltime" youtubers and in many cases better researched and cited.
And the final blow:
To give a sense of scale, no video I have ever made has taken more than 12 hours of straight work, from finding the topic, researching, acquiring relevant studies, scripting, recording, editing, rendering and done. That's 12 hours AT THE MOST. The average is about 4-6 hours a piece, this is why I'm basically limited to 1-2 videos a week, because that's how it fits into my spare time arrangement. So what the fuck are you "professional" "fulltime" youtubers doing all fucking day!? The answer is sitting around playing videos games, watching porn and shit posting in twitter and you want people to fund this life style while hiding it behind some "but youtubes is so hard" crap.
I swear he is one of us. If he isn't, he would love it here.

He keeps getting more based. How can he stand to even be posting videos within the same general subgenre of youtube content as all these paymetons leechlords?

I'm not sure why some think this is Teal Deer trying to come off as sanctimonious. YouTube simply cannot be your career. You can't rely on a revenue source like Adsense which was fickle from the start and then complain when it tanks. Besides, even if you could sustain a living off YT indefinitely, you'd get bored with it eventually. Then what? Good luck sending in that resume with zero marketable skills because you spent the last 10-20 years entertaining shitlords.
We have been saying this for actual years. Since before a lot of these current ebeggers were on YouTube. We were saying this back in the BLIP BLIP BLIP days when Nostalgic Doge was a big deal.

It's so retarded to tie in your livelihood with a video hosting company that has zero responsibility to you, isn't employing you officially and could take down your channel at any time, for any reason.

Also, daily "content" needs to die. It probably won't, but I wish it would.

Making quality YT content is hard, dammit. Just think about how many hours Joe needs to get into his tiny costumes! All for FREE entertainment!!11!
