Or does pokemon have a SMT feel?! Though it's funny how SMT gives you more peaceful options to recruit critters aside from "beat the shit out of them".

The first STM game Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei was released on September 11 1987 or that's what i remenber reading some time ago

SMT 3 Nocturne is as perfect a game as any I've played.
