He made a video a year or so ago defending the idea of not using "autistic" as an insult and I believe he justified it using other easily slung around terms in the social justice sphere.

I believe he also revealed that he's a bit autistic in the literal sense within that video, as well. Don't quote me on that one, though.

If he's triggered by the word "autistic" but not by any of the other offensive words flung around on the internet, it's more than likely because he is autistic or knows someone who is.
