He wasn't ethnically jewish though. He apparently converted to be with his wife, though I think that was likely her parents being typical hasidic jews demanding a conversion so they can pretend the kids are pure jews.

His gimmick was helping people be able to play games purely in Japanese. For instance he'd translate menus and stuff to give people an easier time playing imports.
He was also Kamen Rider ExAid before ExAid as he was a huge tokusatsu fan.

The translations we're mostly for the sake of the review. It was mostly about breaking the ice and getting used to play games with moonrunes.
I never watched him but his gimmick was reviewing import Japanese games. They were harmless and as far as I know he never did sketches or anything, he just reviewed jap games because he liked them and because he was much older than the rest of the people on the site he didn't get involved in dumb drama.
He did a collab with Diamanda Hagen. He also had some buddy named Psychotaku, which was some fat Japanese guy with the gimmick of "Say stuff in Japanese, then rewind and do the whole thing in English".
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.
