I think the adpocalypse has caught up to him, and instead of begging for ewelfare James has that "working man spirit" and is just busting his ass putting out videos to make up for what he's losing.

I think he usually does a series of shorter reviews for Christmas, although IIRC they're usually a bit shorter than these ones have been. I guess he's still putting the effort in which automatically puts him leagues above the average Nobody.

Is Mike trying to sound boring as fuck? The whole review is like a badly written essay read in the most monotone voice possible. With such gems as "the game is lacking in side missions, but makes up for it with side missions" (paraphrased) and "one thing i like is the amount of options" and then fails to elaborate on what that even means. He barely even gives his own opinion, which is surely the purpose of making your own review. You can really tell Mike just read the wikipedia cliff notes and a couple of reviews on Metacritic before he shat this one out. I doubt he spent more than 10 minutes on each game if he even played them at all.

He does sound like a robot, reading this shit as fast as he can, not bothering at all. Can someone explain to me how over 200 thousand autists already watched that? Because the video has Spiderman name on it? I couldn't get past 2 minute mark, that's seriously awful. Not that Mike isn't awful on his own, but this is zero effort. You could get a regular word to speech bot and it would probably do a better job.
