As a white guy who plays guitar and can sing pretty well I can tell you that I also hate them for how little effort it takes to actually be one of them.

It also stems from jealousy that they got discovered and you didn't (or they have talent in another area like song writing and you don't, etc). I can guarantee you that Turd's hatred is stemming from the same place a failed college athlete's hatred for professional sports comes from.
