• Volume 9 being such a smash hit that Crunchyroll will fall over itself ordering a new season (still not even a hint of the fabled Volume 10 happening anytime soon)
• Their atrocious Justice Leage / RWBY thing converting DC fans by the truckloads (maybe they'd had better chances if this was a 100% DC Animated Universe production, which it is not; good luck impressing anyone with your shoddy 3D shit that is not already a RWTARD)

I'm pretty sure everyone on RT knows there is no pot-o'-gold at the end of the rainbow, and they're delaying having to spill the beans for as long as possible to fleece the fans with cheap merch and lame OF accounts.

Even in the "best" case for the franchise WB will probably just pull some kind of reboot after throwing RT into the garbage bin.
Which will is bound to create additional salt. Not just because of the reboot, but because there's like a good chunk of the remaining fans who have very strong opinions on how to properly reboot/fix the story.

Man I hope so, I want to taste the salty tears of the RWBY fandom no matter what happens. Keep me posted on the destruction of RT! Cheers!

So last season really only happened because Crunchyroll stepped in, and this effectively confirms CR has no desire to pour any more money into this IP.

Now I only wonder what the inevitable Kickstarter will be about: a full season? A movie? A comic?
And how many of the overpriced quality animator will still be employed when it launches?

RWBY is likely the last leg of Rooster Teeth, if it dies maybe they’ll finally implode.
