I wouldn't say that she inspired a love of reading if all the thinkpiece writers I've seen can only draw parallels to Trump or current events with that one book series. You can tell they either stopped reading books after middle school or refuse to read anything that isn't YA fiction. While there's nothing wrong with it per se, you can't really call yourself an intellectual heavyweight if your bookshelf looks like a Scholastic Book Fair.
