Some shitty channel called zombiegoboom is suing youtube over the adpocalpyse.

They look like one of those internet channels that got super big in the early days of youtube but were forgotten about today. It basically goes over everything saying they are basically suing for damages that they were caused over sponsors leaving.

We all know this is bullshit, but wanted to share so we can sperg.

Anyway, youtube doesn't owe anyone a living. If you go make your own website and youtube gets you shut down for competing with them, THEN you can sue. You can't sue McDonald's because you're working there flipping burgers and you believe you are entitled to a CEO salary instead. That's what these e-celebs are doing.

I wonder if google will shut their account down for filing suit against them?

And then they do fuck off somewhere else, like moving to Twitch, but they keep uploading to youtube AS WELL because they are greedy. Why would they stay only on twitch when they can upload their garbage twitch streams to youtube TOO and make even more money?

These cucks will make money on videos they upload to youtube where they're crying about how much money they're not making on fucking youtube.

YouTube needs to start directly banning people. If you sue a business, you shouldn't be allowed to continue using their fucking services. zombiegoboom should immediately lose their channel. Go start your own video host or archive somewhere else for your fucking lawsuit against youtube. YouTube doesn't OWE you a platform and audience to skreech to about how much money you think you deserve to be making when you're not even fucking employed by them.

DSP was crying about how youtube doesn't adhere to laws. What laws? They're not your employer. You're not even a paying customer. There are two ways of looking at youtube. Either the youtubers are the "customers," or the advertisers are the customers and the users are the PRODUCT. I would tend to the latter view. The advertisers are the people funding the website. The users are the market, aka the product that youtube uses to generate money.

What do youtube owe anyone? They're not stopping anyone from making a living on the internet. They never filed a SLAPP suit to take down RedLetterMedia's website during all those years when RLM was big and hosted their videos with a competitor.

YT could just one day go "You know what? Our partnership program was a mistake", and nothing could stop them. Aside from having to hear a choir of autistic screeching.

This also reminds me of the old "My favorite content producer and his buddies could just pack their stuff and make their own site. This would KILL YOUTUBE, so they better do as we say." meme some fanboys like to bring up.

Entitled fuckheads who let their ego get the better of them, think they're a big shot on YouTube when they're just another drop in the ocean.

Their audience doesn't seem to bother with them, as their views are nowhere near what a channel with 1.6 million subscribers should get, they're receiving less than 8% in their subs-to-views ratio a lot of the time.
