Even if this passes, the corporates crack down as much as they can, they'll lose money.
All of a sudden you'll have people watching less, networks getting pissy, and maybe them banding together to form their own network to keep employed. Don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
Hell, Google might start their own broadcasting network service requiring paid monies. Talk about cleaning up the swamp of nobodies. The bottom line is: no one will let the American public suffer one minute from lack of mind-numbing electronic entertainment.

...and still: Spoony did nothing.

Honestly, our society might benefit more from less electronic use.
Then again, that's the sentiment of a fuck like me who's pushing 30, and not grounded in the reality that our society runs on that shit now.

Aaaaaaand it's been killed (at least in the beginning stages). Expect a tsunami of butthurt incoming from the usual nobodies, though I honestly wonder how long this'll last.

Human sacrifice, SJWs and Alt-Righters living together, mass hysteria!
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Trump can kiss a second term goodbye if he lets this happen. The trolls will never forgive and never forget.

Yep, this could legit end it since this will be seen as him helping the MSM gain more media control. That idiot who killed it kept bringing up Google and Facebook censoring opposing views to deflect, that is a completely different issue and instead he has given power to the 6 media companies who are just as bad if not worse.Pope Corky III wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 7:54 pmTrump can kiss a second term goodbye if he lets this happen.
This will be a slow burn but eventually Americans will be paying a LOT more for their internet. Lolbertarians will argue that the magical free market will come up with a magical cheaper alternative but that's bullshit, setting up internet services is expensive and hardly anyone can just set up a company to compete like a restaurant.

Lolbertarians indeed. Crowder, Molyneux and DannyMcFisto are all championing this as a good thing. And they wonder why the MSM is trying to bait psychos into killing them.
On the other hand, Trump might pull off a third term if he vetoes it and states publically that his reason for doing so is because a dirty Muslim came up with it.
Addendum: These IBM's with magnet growths also keep saying the internet is gonna go back to the way it was before Obama signed that Net Neutrality deal. From a form and function perspective, the internet hasn't changed one fucking iota since 2015.

Seriously? When we are so addicted to such electronics we would be throttled by the ISPs this sucks net neutrality should have not been repealed.
