There was an article awhile back about how job applicants who put their pronouns in their resume are a lot LESS likely to be hired than those who don't.

One of if not the most important aspect of an employee, for his and everyone else's sake, is how they get along with people.
Either high agreeableness or stoicism are sought after, even more than expertise.

Would you rather have an employee that gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time, at a normal level and is liked by customers and coworkers alike or someone who is exceptional at their job but is an absolute pain in the ass to deal with?

The answer is the former. Always the former. Not a single fuckhead on the market does something so unique or beneficial as an employee to be worth dealing with an absolute twat for.

How agreeable do you think will a person be with they/them pronouns? Do you think they will be able to handle customer and coworker interactions without trouble?
Or could they just as well put "I'm a fucking nightmare and will tank the entire company's work environment quality for customers, coworkers and you, plus I'm peak litigatious and a PR mess waiting to happen." in their resume?

Might as well put "theft" as a hobby.

Once upon a time, people used to at least disguise their freakiness so they could a get a job. Today's culture of "empowerment" and "speak your truth" though leads people to apply for jobs with demonic tattooed eyeballs and purple hair and "Call me 'they/them'" on their resume. And when that doesn't work out for them, they say it's because of baseless discrimination. No other reason. None at all.
