Spoonymaster has the turn based option, but i believe it's training wheels, just like turning the automap on and off, and having Spoony solve the riddles for you.
Only now i'm noticing that the let's player in that video i posted is completely retarded; apologies for that.

Eureka Seven is kinda weird to begin with, and these games are apparently telling an original story instead of adapting anything from the animu.
