I assume whoever redesigned this tried to make some kind of "anti-shoujo" art style in an attempt to battle the "unrealistic beauty standards" of shoujoshit (where characters are usually drawn with long legs).

I never was and don't understand why anyone gives a shit about the game anyway.
Not a single person has ever played the first game, including the devs, and the trailer looked so boring and gay I assumed it was some Korean shovelware.

It had the potential to be a fun Starship Troopers clone. Kinda like EDF but inferior and for normies with friends. This pretty much kills any interest I would have had, however.

I still don't have any kind of Ubisoft, Bugthesda or Id account and never will. I played their gaymes before such things were mandatory and now I don't play their shit at all. Unless it's og DOOM, DOOM II or QUAKE.

Actual id games, yeah. Never pay money for those and use a source port. Nobody involved gets a single pissing cent for those games anymore anyway.

I Can't Believe It's Not Suikoden has gotten a fan mod to de-retard (detard?) the woke localization (wokalization?). Now with 100% less Rub-a-dub-dubs! Expect the mod to get kicked out of Nexus for being "problematic" or something, and/or the game getting several fake patches to inconvenience the gamers (as you have to reinstall the mod after each and every one).

It's already on Based Mods anyway, and over there you don't need a gay account to download - the SRW 30 patch that changes the line about pronouns is there too, but frankly much more than that should've been fixed about that lolcalization ("i respecc'ed kindness out of my build years ago"....).
At least i hope that the patch on Based Mods is the same one that's on nexus; the 2 files have different sizes.

Anyway, the only Suikoden i played back in the day was 4, aka the worst one.
I'd rather play the good titles in that series before this new game.

The only one I know is 5, aka the one with the loli sister and the waifu bodyguard.

Suikoden 1 and 2 are old and worth playing. Suikoden 3 is pretty player-unfriendly and full of mandatory backtracking.

Don't bother with Eiyuden. It runs like shit from all accounts and sucks compared to Suikoden.
