starcraft broodwar was updated recently and is also getting a hd re-release I heard.

Total war Warhammer is pretty fun too but insanely overpriced with all the dlc.

Updated in what way? I remember i had naive hopes that Starcraft II would be good, i mean yeah gameplay wise it is but as someone who put importance on story Wings of Liberty left me with a bad taste in my mouth yet i thought "Hey maybe it was a fluke!". I was so much wrong, i actually ragequitted Heart of the Swarm when they killed the last sympathetic character and expected to side with Kerrigan. I didn't buy the last part but it was what made me hate Metzen, i didn't play WoW far enough to get angry and Diablo III (I borrowed the the disc disc) didn't help

they just updated it so there are no more problems finding or connecting to games and made it work right on newer windows n stuff.

I also didnt play the last sc2 game but unlike you I dont even think the gameplay is good, its nothing like starcraft broodwar. Diablo3 is erased from my memory and I dont want to waste another second thinking about it.

Did they also ever update WC3 so its FMVs don't look like absolute shite on modern PCs?

Well good in comparison to the non-gameplay parts

I wonder when Blizzard will finally enter the next step of borrowing from Games Workshop by fucking at least one of their franchises up like Age of Sigmar did.

They already did fuck up Warcraft with WoW. It's not a strategy game anymore and the story, if you ever cared about that, is a total mess.

So, we have a thread for those? I discovered Civilization back in 2016 and never stopped playing it, both Civ V and VI. I recently downloaded the Vox Populi mod for Civ V and am trying to learn all the new systems that the autists modders included.

I'm tempted to start with the Europa Universalis games, but I'm afraid that I'll quit my job and never do anything but play 4x/GS strategyu games until the day I die if I do.

Civ is a real thinking man's game, perfect for a redditeur.
