Everything that came after was indeed a far cry from the original.
Talk about the life consuming, celibacy inducing hobby that is all the rage these days.
Sold it to Ubisoft banked really hard on mobile gaming, ate massive shit on that market and tried to crawl back to actual game systems. They could've been the darling of PC gamers, now they are broke and can go eat a dick as far as I'm concerned.
They are German as well. Fucking shameful.
Not every post can be a slam dunk.
Hint: I heard getting 100% completion unlock something worth getting 100% forda PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 2:58 amEh, only played about 10-15 minute but it seemed good so far. It has a melee counter gimmick that might end up being annoying or might be good, time will tell. So far it hasn't been hard to pull it off which is usually the deciding factor with mechanics like that.

Glad some idiot still keeps that gamespy site up for some reason lol. Well here is the proof:
I think even in some interview or somewhere else Newell said he didn't think it would sell well standalone thats why they bundled it but don't quote me on that.
I knew Kugel was full of shit, I bought HL2 when it came out and it had CS:Source bundled with it. What a great game that was, improved CS 1.6 in every way. Of course, then CS:GO HOME happened and it all went to shit soon afterwards...
It's not like Germany has some long tradition of making good games anyways You guys make some interesting, quirky games, like Paraworld, but then you obsess yourselves with stuff like Cultures and plaster dwarfs, not a good balance. At this point I would say that more impressive games were made in Czech Republic than in Germany. Your people just don't like gaming that much.
Your shit taste knows no bounds. Source was dumb fun at times but those hitboxes were beyond fucked, killing an enemy half the time was pure luck. There is a reason the tourneyfags stuck with with 1.6 for a while.
CS:GO is a big improvement gameplay wise, though of course you have that gambling shit that got tied to it with it's stupid loot boxes.
