I fucking hate Cliff Racers, they were the most annoying enemies in the games since they could get out of your range and i remember the times a bunch of them following me and even when i killed some more showed up

Definitely the most annoying enemies in Morrowind. Just some oddly-shaped asshole birds trying to wreck your shit as soon as they spot you.

All I know about morrowind is people hate cliff racers.

I played the game for five minutes one time. I wandered around, tried to read text for ants and got bored.

Worst part is that the game directly tells you to go wander and do... anything else when you try to do the main quest right away. The guy gives you cash and is like, "go level up, nub."

It's a true relic of its time and people really do have nostalgia goggles for the game.

I still love it, though. Played it too much growing up so now picking it up every so often makes me feel like an early teenager again.

How is it nostalgia goggles when it was the last good elder scrolls game?

Because it's nostalgia goggles that make people say that, to begin with, when Oblivion was demonstrably a mechanically better game and Daggerfall was demonstrably a better open world RPG?

I didn't say Oblivion was perfect. I said it was mechanically better than Morrowind because it is.

Morrowind isn't a bad game but it's not the, "last good Elder Scrolls," when the two games surrounding it do something better and said something is actually hugely important.
