Re: Movie Thread
I really hope I don't suffer the same fate. My friends want to go see that SAO prequel (something I'm not looking forward to but I want to at least spend some time with them) and the last thing I would do is wear a mask.

Re: Movie Thread
Wearing a mask is a fitting punishment for watching SAO.
I'm not interested because it doesn't continue the superior 3rd entry in the franchise seems a bit desparate to pull at the audience's nostalgia strings. Plus being set in some small town in bumfuck makes me fear they're borrowing from It (whose first part made quite the impact on the silver screen about a year after the failure that is Thotbusters).Guest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:16 pmanyone gonna watch the new ghostbusters movie?
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Everywhere. The only place it's not explicitly mandated here is outdoors and on your own private property.
Re: Movie Thread
Nope. Not even worth pirating. Ghostbusters is something that should never have been turned into a full-fledged franchise to begin with, kind of like Star Wars & Alien. It always felt like a one-off comedy to me. Besides that, based off the trailers, the movie comes off as a "Stranger Things" rip off wearing the skin of Ghostbusters tbh. Got too many TFA vibes from it as well. Just seems too desperate and pretentious, and the CGI looks all types of fugly. The damage was done 32 years ago with GB2 & degraded even further with Fembusters 2016, the latter of which killed the IP as far as I'm concerned. This """apology""" for 2016 comes too little, too late.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:16 pmanyone gonna watch the new ghostbusters movie?

The only apology I would have accepted is murdering the cast and crew of 2016 and the surviving cast of the original film.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 5:39 pmThis """apology""" for 2016 comes too little, too late.

I was absolutely baffled about the recent trailers for it. I honestly thought they already shat that stinker onto the silver screen but apparently they had a No Time To Show situation on their hands.
I wouldn't watch that memberberries garbage if you paid me.
Last time I've seen a trash fire burn that hot was the Wanda Vision trailer. I can hardly believe it's an actual product people consciously worked on.
