Well, Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender was a huge improvement over the last couple of episodes but RAPEMAN is right that the show is losing its edge. The Israel joke felt like the writers were carefully tiptoeing around controversy whereas in the past the writers didn't seem to care about offending people.

Watch Dan Harmon go on a heated tangent about Nazis at a recent speaking event. The guy literally yells "you die if your don't shit and you die if you don't say you're not a Nazi"

It's amazing how when they put the good writer in for an episode, it's good.

I quite enjoyed the Rick/Jerry adventure.

First decent episode of season 3.

The only reason it's lost any edge is they let shit people write episodes.

Everyone has baggage in it, and everyone has to deal with it in recent episode.

You'd think the "Immortality Field" would ruin the tension but it doesnt.

My main gripe with season 3 is they're trying way too hard to be dramatic like Steven's Universe - they're beating us over the head in this season. It was OK with the conclusion of Samurai Jack (if a tad hackney), but this is not the show to be focusing seriously on the ruin of the nuclear family. Rick's stress on his family was always a joke, not the focal point of the show, this is what happens when a premise grows old and they have to restructure a show to keep it going.

The writing staff restructuring and the recent antics of Dan Harmon has me wondering if the show's conclusion will have the female cast discovering they're lesbians and Rick and Morty get sent off to inter-dimensional misogyny prison.

I remember I got downvoted a fuckton, and I mean A FUCKTON, on Reddit on the thread where the news of these femeale writers was.

I just wrote: "Great. Now it will turn to feminist, SJW shit."

I enjoy the first two seasons.
