I wonder if the Street Sharks kickstarted a furry community.
If it did, it's probably full of homos. I don't remember any female characters on that show. Do fish-people even count as furries or is there a separate term for them?

Fishies?

And you just know any shark lady would look a lot more human than the rest.

I'm convinced that the only people who remember Rescue Rangers fondly are furries who beat their meat to Gadget Hackwrench. Same deal with Swat Kats (how come Pirates of the Dark Water didn't get a revival Kickstarter? That was the better 90s Hanna Barbera show)
The games were okay, but then it's not hard when they cut the bad parts out

I give on Rescue Rangers, it just isn't good to continue watching it.
I told ya to go TailSpin.
I have a problem of often not being able to go not in chronological in media stuff, i'll go watch Tailspin

Don't worry. There's no continuity between the shows anyways.

(Unless you dig really deep into the lore...)

I meant production and airing dates

God, the Disney Afternoon was so long ago. It's hard to remember.
But I remember watching Gummi Bears, so it must have been OK at least. If I thought a show sucked, I wouldn't watch it. Like I hated Goof Troop. Well, basically everything from Goof Troop forward.
I think there was a Winnie the Pooh cartoon on Saturday Mornings that I thought was OK too.

Swat Kats was one of those "anthro crimefighters with attitude" action cartoons that came into existence following the success of TMNT, kinda like Biker Mice from Mars and Street Sharks. It was pretty standard "monster of the week" fare with some admittedly good animation for its time. The show took place in a planet of cat-people and centered two fighter pilots who become vigilantes. Nowadays people only remember it due to the main chick, Callie Briggs, who (along with all the other female characters on the show) looked more human than the male cat-people.

"Anthrocon" photo.

So legit, the only reason this exists now is furries.

Now compare these cosplays of the two main girls.

They're just regular women with cat ears and tails.
