Haha, I didn't catch that the first time. The person with the account must be from the same general region and have the same accent.

I'm sorry, but nobody--not even a dirty Cucknadian--likes Rush. And what's this Tom Sawyer shit? What's next, an epic rap song about Huck Finn?

I wasn't aware of this specific cancer. Is it a parody?

There he is. Hope Crusher, the crusher of my hopes. The one who came specifically for my hopes to crush them. The crusher of hopes.
Well, fuck everything then! Let's escalate! Guys like that are top priority to guys like me. I'd go out of my way to give the fucker a piece of my mind.

All I know is that if that person is actually serious about that shit I would love to kill him and not feel guilty for a second.

It has to be a parody, there is no way! The number of pop-cultural references around this reached a critical mass that encased it some kind of Poe's Law field that makes it impossible to tell if it is a parody or not, You read it thinking it is a parody and come out convinced it is sincere. You think it is sincere and come out thinking it is some kind of satire on the shitty nerd culture trope. Nevertheless if a movie about this isn't the thing that will kill of nerd culture from the collective consciousness nothing will.

The problem is decent pop culture pretty much ended in 2000, so the younger generation have to latch onto '80s/'90s nostalgia because all they have are Kardashian whores and Spoony.
