Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

My group of friends sometimes just gather for a game of something.

It's more about the group than the games for me.
I think this is true. Board games to me generate a social environment that video games just can't match.

Board games are cool. They don't require any platform to run, and although they are limited to local multiplayer (unless you're getting creative), the FPS and overall performance is unbelievable.

Ever played a competitive game of Monopoly? I'd rather go and play CoD on Xboner for the less hostile gaming environment of getting called a faggot nigger by some twelve year old .

I played a ridiculous amount of Trivial Pursuit growing up. Too bad I never retained any of that sweet, albeit useless knowledge.
I never sold my Daewoo. I kept getting low-balled and said fuck it. I’m going to keep it and watch it soar in value!

I know that feeling all too well. I know lots of random shit but usually my knowledge doesn't go very deep. That makes for me knowing a lot of stuff that I'll never need. Meanwhile, I can't remember people's names for shit.
People are really disappointed when they went to school with me and I don't know their names. I'm disappointed that I'll never get to tell them the composition of D2 steel. We all suffer differently, mate.

I miss the social aspect of them more, getting together with friends and staying up all night before they ruined themselves by having children or moving away. I still do like board games by my god are they expensive, I really want fireball island again.

Quality game; one of the best, and I remember that commercial, too. Mousetrap is another classic.

Mousetrap was pretty great, but it was that sorta game you kept up for a few days because putting it together was such a pain in the ass.

Honestly one game I used to have that I don't anymore was battledome, it was basically a XTREME hungry hungry hippo's, but fun.
