But with different heroes. Heracles' labours never reached the triple digits.
It did however get remade as Hercules, along with pretty much most of the Greek myths, by the Romans.

The average woman is goddamn retarded. They are practically in orgasmic bliss over this shitty movie, as if it smashed the fabled patriarchy or something. All it proves is women not named Lexi Alexander can't direct action for shit. What? You thought it made $100 million because there was a vagina behind the camera?

I should add that Wonder Woman is a perfect example of why the character universes should be separate. It's like Iron Man 3 and everyone's like, why aren't the Avengers helping? Well now you have Batman, but he lives in a world where Superman and literal Greek goddesses exist. So what's the point of his existence? Superman can do everything he can, but in like five seconds. Why is he fighting alongside WW, when she's essentially immortal, strong as Supes, and can fly? They don't even portray him as particularly smart.

Perfect example: Batman/Superman. Batman fights those dudes in the warehouse to save Mom Kent, but Supes could have done it in the blink of an eye and still made it to the final fight. Batman is useless now.

On a side note, what the actual fuck happened to Thanos & the Infinity Stone subplot? He's supposed to be the final boss of the MCU, but they've just barely been acknowledging that he exists outside of some of the previews at the end of some of the movies. Infinity War is gonna feel like an afterthought of "Oh yeah, Thanos exists. We happen to have all the Infinity Stones now. Let's beat him. Ok, we beat him now. The End, but not really, because we're gonna make an unnecessary Phase 4 where we'll have no idea what the fuck we'll be doing with the plot anymore. Here's to endless sequels and declining revenue in the next decade or so!"

Also, no one's gonna be interested in any future DCEU films either after Marvel's done with Infinity War because everyone will be sick of capeshit by then.

They can't do a Thanos movie because the audience will tap out after watching what would feel like the "final" Marvel cinematic universe movie. People are gonna watch that Thanos shit, say "ok cool, the worst threat ever is gone, time to watch something else" and any sequels to the Thanos movie are going to be about lesser villains.

Thanos is pretty much Marvel's Darkseid IIRC. It's like making a Star Wars after Vader and the Emperor are dead, or making Star Trek movies after Kahn died.

I don't think Marvel capeshit will end gracefully after they end the Thanos storyline. If they buy the rights from Fox they possibly could go with Galactus as the next main Villain, but I think they will go the more probable route and start rebooting everything after they end this cycle, maybe not directly, but with Dr Strange, you can see that their potential of creating new characters with distinguished personalities is limited. So they will probably end up with 'the new avengers' filled with the supporting characters as the leads, [which will be carbon copies in terms of personality, will just have different costumes and gimmicks] introducing even more obscure characters and villains. They can use the sham of brining back to life some old villain that was supposedly dead.

As to the general public getting tired of Marvel's crap don't underestimate how easy to entertain people are getting, You have new episodes of star wars, after the prequels you would think people got smarter and greet it with caution, but nope, the hype machine made it impossible to point anything wrong with the movies. People want more and more, and that's exactly what they will get.

Though even Disney has franchises people eventually got tired of like the Pirates, so maybe there is hope.

The hype machine is just marketing and advertising though. Same as with AAA games that people get hyped for. Folks will eventually learn. What happens then is the marketing and advertising fucks have to hope enough new people are being born to compensate for all the existing people who have been burned and stopped buying into the hype.

Console gaming is starting to die anyway, the attach rates for consoles are shit compared to last gen and that is where the AAA games are. There are way less studios, Konami only makes soccer games and Pachinko and Capcom barely exists. THQ is dead too.

The hype machine can only last for so long before fatigue sits in. Gaming did it first and now the effects are being felt, this Marvel/Disney hype machine is starting to lose a bit of steam and soon people will become cynical about these movies like we are.

There are fewer big AAA studios, but the indie scene blew the fuck up and now you have indie games on basically every platform, especially PC which, as we all know, is the only platform still relevant today. :D

That can't/won't happen with movies however, because of the budgets involved. More likely entire movie genres (superhero, science fiction reboots, anime adaptations with big-name hollywood actors) will go the way of westerns and die off almost entirely.

Soon, all that is left are Adam Sandler and Seltzerberg movies.

Batman is like the weird autistic kid of the Justice League. You try going in his town and putting an end to all the crime, and he loses his shit.

Also whenever there's a crossover, everyone who is not Batman tends to get more dumber. Even aliens and speedsters who can think faster and/or better than Batman could ever do.

(Though the dumbest thing is how he never bothers with power armor when facing cosmic threat. I mean, fuck, Darkseid could sneeze in his general direction and liqufiy his bones in the process.)
