I'm thinking about watching Nadia. Is it as good as weebs say it is (excluding the Island arc)?

It's good if you like that kind of thing. If you saw the opening, you know what you're in for. It feels like a spinoff of Ghibli or some shit.

It sorta was. THE MASTER Hideaki Anno is a better successor to Miyazaki's legacy than his actual son.

Nadia was a somewhat decent series until the island arc happened.

Voice actors have to work with some real shit in general but usually just phone it in and be done with it. And then there's anime. The only medium that produces trash that terrible they just give up and take the piss because the source material is just that bad.
