I think I once stumbled upon a slideshow one. That was bizarre to say the least.

At least I still have Vocaloids.

Watching Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, it feels like the show was written by misanthropes, Animal are smart while humans are either really dumb or evil

Well, it's the same kind of furry genre where say dog catchers keep getting portrayed as evil (borderline) criminals sending dogs to what is basically a concentration camp.

Man, I can't even remember if that show had a "good" human. Probably some orphan kid, that's a classic archetype.

I'm convinced that the only people who remember Rescue Rangers fondly are furries who beat their meat to Gadget Hackwrench. Same deal with Swat Kats (how come Pirates of the Dark Water didn't get a revival Kickstarter? That was the better 90s Hanna Barbera show)

Actually they are called rangerphiles and there is a ED article about these kind of people. By know most of them probably migrated to MLP.

This shit wouldn't even exist at all in public memory if not for porn. There are a lot of franchises like that. I don't know what the hell a swat kat is, but that dumb shit is all over the internet on porn sites.

Swat Kats was one of those "anthro crimefighters with attitude" action cartoons that came into existence following the success of TMNT, kinda like Biker Mice from Mars and Street Sharks. It was pretty standard "monster of the week" fare with some admittedly good animation for its time. The show took place in a planet of cat-people and centered two fighter pilots who become vigilantes. Nowadays people only remember it due to the main chick, Callie Briggs, who (along with all the other female characters on the show) looked more human than the male cat-people.

I wonder if the Street Sharks kickstarted a furry community.
