On an unrelated note, I just finished Tremors 6, which was easily the best since 2. Why? Because there's no fucking around with stupid shit. Monsters attack, they call Burt, he goes to the Arctic, they fight monsters in an enclosed space. That's how it worked in the first two and that's how it should always work. These films have some of the best pacing I've ever seen. Time just flies by.
6 still has Jamie Kennedy, but he was toned down, thank fuck. He almost ruined Tremors 5.

The day later makes no sense, I guess. Then again, you think that Evil Dead 1 and two being different movies makes sense so why is that bothering you so much?

Short answer is that they're two entirely different and incomparable franchises. More horror franchises should be like Evil Dad.
It's no "Revenge" or "Return", but I would certainly call it a generic movie sequel title addition.

I was talking with a friend about the very overused prefixes/suffixes and how they often are associated with sucky movies. Not even remotely an exaggeration. This was the worst of them all. The only saving grace was Richard Brake hamming it up for a few scenes.
Get this: Tremors 7 was so shit that they couldn't even get Jamie Kennedy. They had to get another actor to fill in for him!
