Gotta love the EU. Remember when the Emperor came back as a clone?! Or how they introduced stupid Death Star+ superweapons before TFA made it cool?
At least they confined it to shitty novels and comic books only die-hard nerds even knew about. They didn't plaster it on the screen and call it the event of a generation.

Just saw John Wick 2 last night.. Man they sure love to overhype dumb shit.

Didnt even like the first movie that much but this second one is just a pathetic shallow attempt to do the same again with an every worse plot and more mindlessness in the action.

3/10 at best (coming from a guy who loves dumb action like van damme / stallone / arnie / bruce willis etC)
You couldn't be gayer right now if you were fucking Linkara up the ass.

That "roll guy over, shoot him in the head, cgi blood" thing was way overused, as it was in the first movie, but the rest of the action was great. It was fight after fight, and while they didn't quite reach the upper tier it was miles ahead of the typical action bullshit. Only thing that was missing was tits, and they had the perfect opportunity when that big-meloned Italian MILF offed herself, but whatever. Atomic Blonde might rectify that.

I am, yes. Seems like an irrelevant thing to say.

At least he's not dressing up as a pastell-colored pony.

(At least I hope so.)

This is vaguely related to movies and I already posted about this franchise here before, so I'll just put it here: I checked out the first season of Ash vs Evil Dead, and it's kind of a mixed bag.

Bruce is killing it, and there's tons of nice gore and references to the films, but you also have to deal with bottom of the barrel CGI, two dimwitted sidekicks and some of the worst writing you will ever see(whenever the characters feel any emotion, they pretty much just flat out say it).

I think Bruce as an actor turned to shit once he got old. He started showing up in all kinds of garbage television. The cult of personality that sprung up around him is beyond cringeworthy.
