One of my high school friends became an SJW tech/games journalist. He was also secretly a womanizer. A bunch of his exes got together on Facebook and decided to ruin him. So some of these chicks he banged years ago come forward and accuse him of being a rapist. The cops refused to act because no rape had happened. His SJW journo buddies turned on him and one of them started writing wild, exaggerated articles that made him sound like the Green River killer. This made the cops look bad and they were pressured into arresting him.
The DA is an SJW too and wants to become governor, so he is showboating about this to try and get the feminist vote.
So yeah, I can believe that a bunch of Cosby's spurned mistresses would collude like this with Allred to get Cosby's money.
Does your friend/ex-friend have a good lawyer?

Cosby didn't rape anyone, bro. He just crushed a lot and now he's being punished for it. Such is the way of feminism, which has infected the modern male to a degree he'll never admit. The alpha must always be brought down, even if it takes a lifetime to do it.
Unfortunately it doesn't matter if Cosby actually raped anyone or not, he basically said that he did, himself, by admitting that he slipped drugs to people without their consent.
I'm generally skeptical of outrageous claims, like rape, but there's also always the chance that they're real. Even if you didn't do it, admitting that you did stuff, like lying about who you were to get sex or slipping a woman drugs without her knowledge, aren't going to make you look good to me and definitely aren't going to help your case in front of a jury. Sure, lying about who you are to get sex might not technically be rape but you're still a giant dickbag for doing it and at least deserve some form of social stigma for it. Not to the degree that a SJW would go after you, but certainly to the point that people look at you funny when you hang out with your friends of the opposite sex.

The only thing I saw was some quote where he said he gave women drugs. No mention of consent either way.
Basically, after these stories came out, feminists were livid that what he did wasn't considered rape by law. There wasn't a whole lot of sympathy for these sluts outside of SJW circles. Law & Order SVU made an episode about him, but had to change the story in order to make the "victims" more sympathetic. He was trained to a college recruiter that banged MILFs to get their daughters accepted.
