Isn't going to prison like college for black people? It doesn't help your professional life but is considered a fundamental rite of passage and such?

Just your everyday injustice of a prejudiced system. But eventually these scholars always end up getting their degree. Usually on their way to church or turning their life around after just becoming fathers for the third time.
