Religious communities also add peer pressure, authority (higher than parental authority), a sort of "school" system of indoctrination and an all-encompassing local culture/community.
It's sort of like wondering where all the SJWs came from, and concluding that the Boomers must have been fucking their sisters. SJWs are created the same way religious fanatics are.

The worst thing about this is that it was, for a while, official YouTube policy. They had that new comment system that everybody hated and one of the bad things about it was that you needed to make a Google account to use it, Google accounts are usually in your own name. I think, if you were already using a YouTube account that was connected to your Google account, your YouTube account would then display your real name. Google had themselves said not a few years prior
not to use your real name or information as your YouTube username.

With very few the psychos are that plentiful or defended by the supposed non-spychos, though. You don't really see a lot of Jews or Christians stoning every faggot they encounter to death or killing their children for disobedience just because the old testament said so.
The crusades were a conquest. Hardly something unusual in scope or brutality back then. It gets really old to hear the whole crusade argument for something that not only happened hundreds of years ago before even electricity but also without mentioning that it was preceeded by multiple conquests by, you guessed it, Islam.
