Truth. I'm hoping against all hope that Bernie hammered his position so hard that when he turns around to his brainwashed supporters to rally behind Biden that they can't be un-programmed and vote Trump/3rd Party in protest -OR- that Bernie decides to throw up the middle finger himself, oppose Biden up to his death bed, and fleece his supporters more so they can't affect the world too badly in the future in any way that matters.

Alienating a chunk of your voter base is never a good strategy. They pandered to SocJus and the only thing propping them up is the rich donors that trade money for political favors. That won't happen. Maybe a hand full of Berniefags will actually not go and vote Biden, even fewer may actually vote Trump in protest but ultimately 99% will just go vote Dem regardless of who's candidate. They always were going to vote Dem no matter who the candidates are or who the current president is.
