I flipped my shit when I saw this article. "Access to an employer's working dinners is equal-opportunity" what the fuck. I don't like Pence, but all he said was what every smart man has ever told me all my life:
Don't be alone with a young lady if you are a married man.
It's pretty obvious why. Maybe you'll do something and regret it. Maybe she will. Maybe nothing will happen, but she'll be an asshole and blackmail you over a false rape allegation or some other such bullshit. Point is, if there are always witnesses, nobody can ever lie and it will be much harder to do something stupid.
Now apparently this is "potentially illegal" or whatever the fuck.

I guess now only evangelical christians are smart enough to protect themselves from accusations of impropriety? I'm not surprised shitlibs are all up in arms, despite the post article saying many people working in government have similar policies that they don't openly disclose (not working alone with female staffers.) I guess the right of a woman to falsely accuse some guy is an equal rights issue.
I may sound like a conspiracy theorist, but how is it someone's "right" to be alone with a person of the opposite sex?
