The Little Asshole. It's a comic book character, though his main claim to fame is the animated movie adaptation from 1997.
One of the running gags involve him getting the rest of his band hospitalized by picking the most triggering songs for every gig.

Pretty great, actually. He truly is an asshole. The movie was a personality-defining experience for me.

As for the gigs of his band, he continuously claims to have the bright idea for the next big thing and then picks the worst location.
Playing Satanic music at a church gathering, some Turkish song about vegetables in a Nazi club and an anti-country song at a truck stop.

I guess I'll have to check it out. We did good last night, I was able to borrow a nicer instrument than I expected, saw a near fight between a couple skinheads with prison tattoos. Our drummer got wasted and convinced himself that a guy from another band was rude to him, but we managed to avoid drama. His habit of putting up our stickers at the local gay bars is drawing guys with the wrong idea, though.
