It's not there.

But I do love Herbert's genial reaction to the 1984 film (talks about it in the foreword of one of the books). He wasn't even mad that the final scene made Paul a literal messiah, completely subverting the story of his book. His thoughts boiled down to "I heard my dialogue and it was awesome". There's something really lovely about that. You gotta appreciate what you have.

Getting rid of calculators was probably just an extremist reaction after decades (centuries?) of enslavement by AI.

Banned out of pure spite. Fuck computers, we got that calculation shit on lock.
