Pretty much this and after they tailored the website and it's community to their liking, removing every sign of dissent, creating the perfect hugbox, they left as well.
I don't think many of them I would call SJWs though, In Doge's case: he is just repeating what is the hot topic at the moment including the most popular opinion to pander to his fanbase. I don't believe he has any progressive agenda with it only to cater to the audience and profit. People who I would consider SJW at least the bigger ones left the site already, some still are clinging to CA, because it is the only thing that makes them popular.
