But there is a ton of unwatchable crap online, but putting a limit on uploads would destroy the Let's Play community.

Fucking Yes! You can never take the goon out of an ex-goon but at least the LP's that they did in SA had the "let's" for a reason. It was a collective effort from the thread or, if it was a streamlined experience, they'd spice it up with fan-made challenges. What's the fucking point of watching a sperge play a game (badly)? Friend simulator 3000?
