Even if the theory that chinkvirus is bioweapon that the ChiComs accidentally allowed to escape from the laboratory isn't to be believed, Chingchongers are able to contract and then spread exotic new diseases without designing them on purpose. They can do it with their dietary habits.

Instead, they are guaranteed to have had several similar mini pandemics but managed to cover those up.
